Embarking on a journey through the ever-evolving landscape of User Experience (UX) Design has been a remarkable and transformative adventure for me. My story in this realm begins after I graduated from college in 2016 with a degree in Computer Science, armed with a passion for technology and a desire to shape digital experiences.

My first significant step into the world of design came when I joined a vibrant startup company called HoneyGuide, specializing in trekking and travel experiences. While my official title was that of a Junior Graphic Designer, the scope of my responsibilities expanded far beyond that label. It was during my time at HoneyGuide that I was handed the opportunity to contribute to the creation of marketing materials, distinctive graphical elements, and intuitive icons for their inaugural mobile app, "Trekking in Nepal." Little did I know that this experience would become my gateway into the captivating realm of UX Design.

My journey at HoneyGuide allowed me to deepen my proficiency in essential design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop. The collaborative environment and innovative spirit of the startup further fueled my curiosity and thirst for knowledge in the field of user-centered design.

Following the successful launch of "Trekking in Nepal," I took the next step in my career and joined Impressions, a company that provided me with the invaluable opportunity to work alongside senior graphic designers and serve diverse clients. This chapter of my professional life honed my time management skills, strengthened my communication abilities, and expanded my proficiency with the Adobe Suite, all of which are essential foundations for any UX Designer.

In 2019, my journey took a significant turn when my wife and I made the life-altering decision to migrate to the United States. It was during this transition that my longstanding interest in UX Design resurfaced, with a newfound determination to pursue this passion as a career. This aspiration led me to Google Career Certificate in UX Design, where I eagerly embraced the opportunity to formalize and enrich my skills in designing digital experiences that are both user-centric and aesthetically captivating.

As I look back on my journey, from a computer science graduate to a junior graphic designer, from Nepal to the United States, I am filled with gratitude for the diverse experiences and insights that have shaped me. My path to UX Design has been a fusion of creativity, technical prowess, and an unwavering commitment to creating digital experiences that leave a lasting impact on users. This is a journey that I am excited to continue, armed with the knowledge and skills acquired along the way, as I seek to contribute to the ever-evolving field of UX Design.
